Chashitsu, a special space for Chanoyu,
is built with natural materials such as fragrant zelcova wood,
hand-polished cedar timber, igusa or rush, mud for walls,
and Washi paper, even though it is located in modern buildings.
So is Koun-tei, which is built in a high-rise apartment building
in the Tokyo Bay area close from the Tokyo Station,
Ginza and Odaiba.
